REVIEW – The Daytime High Return To Rock On Uptempo Exploring Themes With Their 2nd Single

The Daytime High, are the new big boys on the block and they’re back with their 2nd single “Waterfall” , but this time with an uptempo rock track and themes exploring the longing to belong but feelings of alienation from the world.

This is the bands 2nd single after their slam hit “Reaper”, and it shows the band’s talents in changing their style from shoegazing and slap riffs to a more uptempo track that still keeps you hooked to how these guys play rock music

The lyrics suit the mood of what the band is putting together here, to find a sense of belonging and connection to the world around us but facing the alienation by charting our own way and not conforming. In addition to power chords and energy that you will just dig, that make this track a must listen to !!

The Daytime High was formed in the summer of 2022 in Thousand Oaks, California with Micael Johansson ( Vocals and Guitar ) David James ( Guitars, Percussion, and Backing Vocals ) Rich Buckland ( Bass, Keys, Drums, Backing Vocals ) and influenced by Beatles, Stones, Kinks, Oasis, Ride, Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Clash, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, The Soundtrack Of Our Lives, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Buzzcocks

Checkout the lyrics video and enjoy the uptempo rock style !!

You can give a listen to “Waterfall” below and make sure you give a follow to stay tuned with The Daytime High future releases
