Old is Gold, and if you’re into early 90s alternative rock music then buckle up as Hole Tripper take you in a time travel machine with their latest single “Old Days”
The track starts with a smooth melody as they get ready to fire up their turbo charged cylinders with hard guitar riffs that will get you nodding into headbanging mode
The vocals hit really hard showcasing a true rock n roll frontman that can turn a live concert into blazing flames
The lyrics are well written with evocative emotions talking about being sick of looking backwards, getting into a fight with death, punching it in the face and then powering on
The instrumental arrangement is well crafted and unique to the band’s glorious unfashionable rock music that takes you in a time capsule to the good old days of hard rock
Hole Tripper is rapidly evolving into a four‐piece English rock band. The band are from the South West and the first album was recorded in two separate studios; a hundred miles apart with the band never playing a note together in the same place. The band’s debut album was named Hundred Miles Out of Time as a nod to the geographical separation when recording the album, that some of the songs were written way back, and, as a nod to the singer’s comical timing challenges when trying to sing and play the guitar at the same time.
The band spent a couple of decades in the real world doing normal things but the threat of one’s own imminent demise even if it thankfully didn’t immediately materialize was enough to shunt the guys out of the comfortable hole they were dwelling in. Now with the taste of musical blood in their mouths they are embarking on a quest to make a lot of music. One of the benefits of being a hole-dweller and waiting so long to produce any music is that they have tons of songs already in the can of all different kinds of flavors and smells.
Hole Tripper is a remote band, ludicrously out of their own time zone, laughing at life and making music.
