REVIEW – Dana Powell Masters Music That Conveys Specific Emotions In “Mirrors”

Inspired by Adele, Norah Jones & Tenille Arts, Dana Powell drops her latest release “Mirrors” and you won’t be surprised that this track is also the EP title

Dana’s style is a unique blend of contemporary Pop and vocal prowess, enriched with relatable lyrics that make this one of the best on repeat tracks we came across

Quoting Dana “Performing music is how I convey my stories to the world. It is easier for me to write and sing my thoughts and feelings than it is to speak them. I try to put as much emotion as I can into songs so the audience can understand and relate.”

In this song Dana talks about finally letting go of a relationship that’s holding her back and moving on with her life in a new undiscovered road, where she’s lost and all she can see is a reflection of her true self and how strong she really is

The EP was recorded at the Static Shack in Indiana, US. Philip Larsen (Grammy Award-winning engineer) produced Say it Won't Be Long and Mirrors. "Lie to Me" was mixed by Austin Deptula (Leann Rimes).

You can give a listen to “Mirrors” below and make sure you give a follow to stay tuned with Dana Powell's future releases
